Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: acpi-support

On gutsy, vbetool vbemode get/set does not work on my Thinkpad Z61p with
fglrx, 2.6.22.1.

gandalf:~# vbetool vbemode get
Real mode call failed

This means, you ought to fix
/etc/acpi/suspend.d/80-video-vesa-state.sh: line 7: [: !=: unary operator
expected
and
/etc/acpi/resume.d/17-video-restore.sh: line 6: [: !=: unary operator expected
Function not supported
FATAL: Module netconsole not found.

Adding double quotes around $VBEMODE will at least make error output go
away, it looks like my laptop does not need vbetool anyway.

** Affects: acpi-support (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
