** Description changed: Lubuntu 19.04 QA-test on motion computing j3400 (c2d-u9400, 4gb, intel mobile 4 series) Discussions in #lubuntu-devel imply this is a consequence of `fcitx` not running by default, so is likely a WISHLIST option, regardless it's MINOR as only noticed on this device because I tried to use it as if keyboard was unattached I could NOT get the onscreen keyboard to show using only wacom pen to control mouse movements (inc. mouse buttons). I tried to follow https://manual.lubuntu.me/3/3.1/3.1.1/fcitx.html?highlight=fcitx to enable it, but was unable. I started `fcitx` at main menu, and the panel item appeared; but i was unable to get it working to the point where a keyboard appeared on screen enabling me to use pen to input text into device. I'd already tried using fcitx-configuration (prefs->fcitx-config at menu) to no luck before I'd asked for assistance on #lubuntu-devel, but running `fcitx` only appeared to give panel icon without extra functionality. - I still consider this minor - most users will likely have keyboards; my - tablet does (even if it's terrible) + I still consider this minor - most users will likely have [attachable] + keyboards; my tablet does (even if it's terrible) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 19.04 Package: fcitx 1:4.2.9.6-5 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.19.0-13.14-generic 4.19.20 Uname: Linux 4.19.0-13-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.10-0ubuntu21 Architecture: amd64 CasperVersion: 1.402 CurrentDesktop: LXQt Date: Thu Feb 28 01:44:40 2019 LiveMediaBuild: Lubuntu 19.04 "Disco Dingo" - Alpha amd64 (20190227) PackageArchitecture: all SourcePackage: fcitx UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
