Public bug reported:
This is more of a UI/UX bug.
1) Import/create enough keys that you have quite a few keys, from a
variety of different times, people, etc.
2) Keys->Import keys
3) Select file for public key $PKA from pseudanonymous person $A, then
hit Open
4)
What happens:
result:
1 public keys read
1 public keys imported
0 public keys unchanged
0 secret keys read
0 secret keys imported
0 secret keys unchanged
[ close ]
Which is...fantastic. Except ...who did I just add? If I'm not on a
first name basis with such person I might not know whether the key that
I added was Lukas Grossar (key created in 2013) or Anonymous Coward (key
created in 2017). I have *no idea* what change I just made to a list of
upwards of thousands of keys. Presumably I have their public key so I
can send secure messages to them...but...who are they?
What should happen:
when the 'result' window is popped up it should give you some kind of
indication of who's keys just got atted. Merely saying 1 public keys
read' is not enough. Highlight the most recently added key...have a
list of the names of public keys imported...something, anything.
