I am in ecstasy! this is so good! OMG! My eyes! I love this! After installing your kernel, one needs to enable the font in console- setup too:
$ cat /etc/default/console-setup | grep '^FONT' FONTFACE="TER" FONTSIZE="16x32" Then i did update-initramfs, and rebooted, and omg how nice my tty is now! If you can, please cherrypick this patch into all the GA kernels as far back as possible, if it like applies cleanly without too much trouble. Later, we will need to work on enabling console-setup (or maybe kernel?!) to autodetect and autopick TER 16x32. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1819881 Title: [CONFIG] please enable highdpi font FONT_TER16x32 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1819881/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
