ubuntu@lp1799697-c:~$ dpkg -l | grep knockd
ii knockd 0.7-1ubuntu1 amd64
     small port-knock daemon
ubuntu@lp1799697-c:~$ sudo systemctl enable knockd
Synchronizing state of knockd.service with SysV service script with
/lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install.
Executing: /lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install enable knockd
The unit files have no installation config (WantedBy, RequiredBy, Also, Alias
settings in the [Install] section, and DefaultInstance for template units).
This means they are not meant to be enabled using systemctl.

ubuntu@lp1799697-c:~$ dpkg -l | grep knockd
ii knockd 0.7-1ubuntu1.18.10.1 amd64
     small port-knock daemon
ubuntu@lp1799697-c:~$ sudo systemctl enable knockd

/lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install.
Executing: /lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install enable knockd
