Public bug reported:
I am using "disco" on my workstation. The last update never ended, I stopped it
after ~10h.
At least I identified the package "keyboard-configuration" to be the cause of
the trouble.
Then:
- downloaded "keyboard-configuration_1.178ubuntu11_all.deb"
$ sudo dpkg -i Downloads/keyboard-configuration_1.178ubuntu11_all.deb
(Reading database ... 199045 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to unpack .../keyboard-configuration_1.178ubuntu11_all.deb ...

Setting up keyboard-configuration (1.178ubuntu11) ...

--> This seems not to come to an end; from here on no movement (in a reasonable
time ;)
$ tail -f /var/log/dpkg.log
