Public bug reported:

I had Ubuntu 14.04 LTS installed with updates to 16.04 LTS and 18.04
LTS. After suppresion of VISTA and data on the Hard disk I tried to
reinstall 14.04 LTS with my DVD because I heard 18.04 LTS does not work
with 32bits systems. It could be my DVD is no more good enought for the
installation? The installation failed in the middle of the procedure.
