I agree that it's probably ROS related. That's a common element to my computer. Somewhere, I thought I saw something about ROS support for OPENNI being discontinued. ROS used openni to communicate with the Microsoft Kinect 3D camera.
I tried to search for it, but the last meaningful openni posts are from 2017. I just upgraded from Ubuntu 14.04 / ROS Indigo to Ubuntu 16.04 / ROS Kinetic and have been seeing these errors since the upgrade. I have no clue whether the root problem is in Ubuntu or ROS. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1679450 Title: package libopenni0 1.5.4.0-14 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openni/+bug/1679450/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
