I am running Fedora on AMD Ryzen 5 2500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx with Gnome.
I use kernel parameters idle=nomwait iommu=pt processor.max_cstate=1 set via grubby. I am not getting any hangs unless I suspend with lid close or suspend on power button. It would probably be better to not execute an MWAIT per the errata. The method in comment 561 would work for those who have the gumption to build their own kernel. The iommu=pt I read about somewhere as useful to do, but I don't know if it helps. Some suggest set idle=halt which also avoids the MWAIT instruction.
