nested kvm is disabled by default on s390x. One can force-enable that by booting with kernel cmdline kvm.nested=1 in /etc/zipl.conf and rerun $ sudo zipl; and reboot.
However, I'm confused why this is filed, when this is the expected default behaviour and has been previously raised and discussed in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1732162 Is there a testsuite expectation missmatch that expects nested-kvm by default, which is no longer provided by default? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1822542 Title: All 12 tests in kvm-unit-test failed (timeouted) on X s390x KVM To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-kernel-tests/+bug/1822542/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
