I now see what you are talking about but I am fairly certain it is a
feature...
It appears to work as the following:
1. Right click on a misspelled word when auto-spell-checker is enabled
A special spell-checker context menu pops up, but only if auto-spell-checker
is enabled.
2. Right click on anything that is not considered a misspelled word
Regular context menu pops up.
So to copy/paste/cut/delete either turn off auto-spell-checker or
correct the word before attempting to do so.
