Public bug reported:

The su-to-root script has a limited selection of "known" su(1)/sudo(1)
front-ends.
A missing front-end is lxqt-sudo(1), i.e., lxsudo(1) and lxsu(1), which would
seem
to be a "natural fix" for LXqt as used by Lubuntu 18.10 (cosmic).
