Public bug reported: Did an install of Ubuntu 18.04.2 and forgot to plug the network cable in. I noticed the dialog where I get to choose 3rd party updates didn't alert me to the lack of network.
Actual behaviour * Download updates checkbox was ticked *and* greyed out * Download 3rd party software was not ticked, but was tickable Expected behaviour (where no network is available) * Download updates checkbox should be greyed out, and *not* ticked * Download 3rd party software should be greyed out, and *not* be ticked In addition, perhaps a warning might be prudent to indicate that a network connection would be good here. Perhaps:- /!\ - Note: A network connection is required to download updates and 3rd party packages. If required, go back to the previous screen to enable internet access.
