1.Insert the sim in the phone W550i.
2.Keep it in a horizontal position in an a.c room for a long time
3.The panel keeps showing "Insert a sim card to view the contents"
Keep continuously removing the sim and putting it back
The phone comes back to ready state when it can be used..........

My phone W550i keeps showing "Insert a sime card" on the screen even when the
sim is present. It happens when the phone is kept in horizontal position for a
long time
