Public bug reported:

Hello!

On edgy(Knot-3, updated on 23,september) IBM TP R40:

Hibernation works when resumed imediately after the hibernation.
If left powered off for some time (15-20 mins), the system comes up fine, but
once KDE is up, it hibernates again.

I suspect a setting that says to hibernate the laptop when left idle for
x minutes (I set such a value when using klaptop. but now klaptop is
removed/purged and only guidance-power-manager is running). I just don't
know where this setting would be stored and if it is still there (why
can't it be set with guidance-powermanager?)

anything I can do?
