Binary package hint: thunar
If I start an application by dubbleclicking an icon in thunar, after
closing this application it leaves a zombie process. The parent process
of this zombie is always 'Thunar --daemon' or - after restarting thunar
- just 'thunar'. Sending 'kill -CHLD <PID-of-thunar>' does not help.
After restarting thunar all the zombies are gone - as expected. I
experience this mostly with gnome applications but sometimes with others
too. This behaviour always shows up with totem and eog, often with file-
roller and sometimes with others.
