Problem reproduced with old version:

This indicates a bug in
someone's code. You must ensure an error is NULL before it's set.
The overwriting error message

After installation from proposed, the problem was solved:
root@gert-laptop:/etc/apt# dpkg -s libmutter-2-0 | grep Version
