Andreas told me that it's probably related to GTK+ but so why it's not
the same configuration which is opening in eog and gnumeric?

In eog you have from "page setup" the possibility to choose landscape.
with gnumeric you have to do another action and choose "page setup" and
"Change paper type" so another action to do a very simple and very
useful trick especially with spreadsheet.

Netherless I think that the functionality is to difficult to find and
something has to be change. I'm pretty sure that it's a mistake in the
HID from GTK+...
