** Description changed: I see something similar (but different) to bug 1766076 on a Dell 5530: - Using kernel 5.0.4 from UKUU (because current Ubuntu kernel suffers from other bugs that make this dock unusable) - BIOS 1.6.0 - TB16 dock with a single monitor on the display port, providing power, using native enumeration setting in the BIOS - Microsoft comfort curve keyboard, webcam, headset connected to dock USB ports - Wired ethernet via the dock. Keyboard stops responding frequently. There is no output in dmesg when this happens. If I later unplug the keyboard I see a disconnection message in dmesg and I can reconnect it to the same port. Sometimes it works for a day after this, other times it works for <60s. - Other devices disconnect too but the pattern is different. Much more - likely to see the disconnect under heavy load, such as webcam/headset - getting disconnected during a conference call. + Other devices disconnect too but the pattern is different.
