Public bug reported:

The linux autopkg tests block evaluation of the binutils, gcc-7 and
gcc-8 updates in bionic-proposed and cosmic-proposed.. There doesn't
seem to be any progress, and pings on #ubuntu-release don't get
attention. While these packages should probably stay in -proposed for
longer than a week, the failing autopkg tests don't allow clear britney
test runs.

Pretty please address this issue, by either stating that these test
results can be ignored, or please fix them.

For the future, it would be nice, if this kind of ping could be avoided.
