Hi Bruce, Thank you for your report. To answer your question, the Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 release will remain at the 2.6.22 kernel version. However, the upcoming Hardy Heron release will target the 2.6.24 kernel. The Hardy linux-source package should be appearing soon. If you'd be willing, we'd really appreciate it if you would be willing to test against the upcoming Hardy Heron release once it comes out and let us know if this issue still persists.
