You have been subscribed to a public bug:
running on an up graded version of ubuntu. installed 18.04, upgraded to
18.10 then 19.04. MySql, installed it and ran mysql_secure_installation
to set a password but it didn't take. it has worked previously in 18.04
and 18.10 but in 19.04, it refuses to let me in with the set password.
