Public bug reported:
This package depends on libjs-jquery-jplayer, which has now been removed
from Debian unstable. Musica is an Ubuntu-specific package which
doesn't appear to be actively maintained (the last upload was from me in
Dec 2018, to update it *to* depend on libjs-jquery-jplayer instead of on
the Ubuntu-specific and redundant and now-removed jplayer; the last
upload before that was in 2016).
It doesn't appear that there is any alternative to jquery-jplayer that
would meet musica's needs.
Either:
- someone should commit to maintaining jplayer or jquery-jplayer in Ubuntu
(with an upload that sets an appropriate Maintainer field); or
- musica should be removed from Ubuntu releases going forward.
If there is no response to this bug report by eoan feature freeze, I
will default to the second option.
