On second thought, perhaps I'm not describing my problem quite accurately (the mockup wasn't 100% accurate). Each of the lines on the screen appears to be acting as a miniature screen in itself. For example (using Kubuntu), if I click on the KDE menu, the menu covers where the left line is whereby the line on the right side of the screen shows a 1 pixel thick version of what is happening on the left side. The opposite is also true. If I put a picture or any other window on top of the line on the right, a 1 pixel thick view of that image appears in the left line.
Once again, this is a problem that has cropped up starting with version 7.10 -- xorg laptop external monitor displays a pair of horizontal lines. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/162133 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
