== SRU Justification ==
The Precise 3.2 kernel doesn't support the Intel I210 NIC. It's a fairly
old and common NIC which is also in my test system. It would help with
testing Precise if that NIC was supported.
== Fix ==
Backport the following 3 commits wich add I210 support:
- igb: Fix incorrect RAR address entries for i210/i211 device.
- igb: Add Support for new i210/i211 devices.
- igb: Add function and pointers for 82580 low power state settings.
== Regression Potential ==
Low. This is mostly new code that is only exercised when an I210 NIC is
present. There is some shuffling around and the introduction of low
power settings handling for other NIC types as well so there is some
risk. But it's isolated to the igb NIC driver.
== Test Case ==
Boot a patched kernel and verify the NIC is recognized and the network
comes up.
