** Description changed: [ Description ] On very bright backgrounds, such as the pictured one which is one of disco's default backgrounds, the clock on the lockscreen is a bit unreadable. [ Fix ] - Increase the shadows a bit to make the text stand out. + Increase the shadows a bit to make the text stand out. See the attached + screenshots for reference. [ QA ] Confirm with some bright backgrounds that the legibility is better than before (doesn't have to be perfect, just not get worse and ideally be better). [ Regression potential ] As with any theme change, this could accidentally break other parts of the shell (probably subtly given the nature of the change). This particular change is in the shell - not the GTK - theme, so look out for breakage there. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1830335 Title: Clock on lock screen isn't very readable with very bright backgrounds To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/yaru-theme/+bug/1830335/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
