Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, you seem to be using packages from PPAs. PPAs are unsupported by Ubuntu, and packages (and package versions) installed from those need to be removed before upgrading to a new Ubuntu release.
This PPA, which you seem to use, https://launchpad.net/~oibaf/+archive/ubuntu/graphics-drivers , states: === Upgrading to a newer Ubuntu === It is *strongly* suggested to remove all packages from this PPA before updating to a newer Ubuntu release. See the section "Revert to original drivers" later on. Then, after the upgrade, you can add again this PPA. I am setting this bug report as incomplete - please change the sattus back to "new" should this issue continue to exist after all packages (and package versions) installed from PPAs have been removed. ** Changed in: ubuntu-release-upgrader (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1830646 Title: can't update from 18.04 to 18.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1830646/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
