Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

If you have multiple profiles (such as if you ran firefox
-ProfileManager and created one or more profiles in addition to the
"default" profile which is created when you first launch Firefox), the
current behavior of the application launcher is to use the latest
profile you had in use.

Me, at least, I always want to use the -P default option unless I
specifically request something else; I propose for this option to be
added to the Firefox launcher icon (concretely, the .desktop file, I
guess, but I'm not very familiar with how this works).

--- /usr/share/applications/firefox.desktop
 GenericName[pt_BR]=Navegador Web
 GenericName[pt_BR]=Navegador Web
 GenericName[sk]=Internetový prehliadač
-Exec=firefox %u
+Exec=firefox -P default %u
 Terminal=false
 X-MultipleArgs=false
 Type=Application

** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
