Public bug reported: Description: Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS Release: 18.04 Package version: 1.0-3
This package is advertised as supporting JPEG2000 images. The output from 'apt-cache show iipimage-server' states "Source images can be in either TIFF or JPEG2000 format." When attempting to serve a JP2 image, IIP Image Server logs the following to /var/log/iipsrv.log: Unsupported image type: /path/to/file/image.jp2 This behaviour is confirmed by the thread at https://sourceforge.net/p/iipimage/discussion/299494/thread/83c834bd/ As per https://github.com/ruven/iipsrv#optional-libraries-openjpeg --enable-openjpeg would need to be used when compiling to enable the open source OpenJPEG decoder. ** Affects: iipimage (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1831442 Title: JPEG2000 support not baked in To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/iipimage/+bug/1831442/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
