"/usr/lib/chromium-browser/extensions" isn't created by any package, as
far as I can tell.
Does this directory contain anything on your system?
Does the following command reveal anything interesting?
dpkg -S /usr/lib/chromium-browser/extensions
** Changed in: chromium-browser (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
