same here
there were a lot of packages that could not be upgraded (mostly related to
mysql, phpmyadmin, phpbb2, ... ), then I started to get the crashes of the
installer.
I have to say I had firefox running at the time of the upgrade, while it was
advised to close all programs not prevent dataloss (I didn't mind if it was
forced-closed).
The installer said it would roll back the upgrade because I could have an
unworkable environment, but whilst doing that, the installer program crashed. I
guess I have a half updated system now. I see some differences (first was the
"[sudo] password for user:" that I noticed), which is still there.
I guess I'll just download the cd and upgrade that way and I hope I won't loose
too much info.
I would like to attach my logs:
(e.g.
* ApportLog.txt (830 bytes, text/plain; charset="utf-8")
* CrashReports.txt (1.1 KiB, text/plain; charset="utf-8")
* ProcMaps.txt (23.1 KiB, text/plain; charset="utf-8")
* ProcStatus.txt (626 bytes, text/plain; charset="utf-8")
* Traceback.txt (1.2 KiB, text/plain; charset="utf-8")
)
but after an updatedb, I couldn't locate these files.
