About being filled automagically, as far I could tell, it should be assisted
bug reporting.
Well, not sure it is a physical problem with the disk.
After all, there was indeed an error with hdc: PLEXTOR CD-R PREMIUM just before
it began reporting errors on ata3.
And an other suspicious thing before errors on ata3:
Nov 2 20:03:51 ubuntu ubiquity: swapon: /dev/sda5: Device or resource busy
Anyway, I am not closing this bug, but rather marking it as Confirmed,
to attract the attention of a developer that will decide what to do
next, and that could be able to give a more expert advice than me.
