xenial->bionic upgrade using 'do-release-upgrade' without params (and snapstore ip addrs blocked) did prompt that the snapstore wasn't available, and then after upgrade tried to install snaps: Checking for installed snaps No snaps are installed yet. Try 'snap install hello-world'.
