Hi Fred, At this time it's only available in the netboot images (network installs) [1].
It should be available on ISOs in Eoan release 19.10 and next Bionic point-release 18.04.3 (currently scheduled to August [2]). We'll put some documentation about the installer kernel/preseed parameters soon, but you should need two: - disk-detect/ibft/enable=true to detect disks based on the iBFT config. - partman-iscsi/iscsi_auto=true for partitioner on iscsi disks to set ISCSI_AUTO=true /etc/iscsi/iscsi.initramfs so that the installed systems tries to boot based on the iBFT config. Hope this helps, Mauricio [1] http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/netboot/ [2] https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BionicBeaver/ReleaseSchedule -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1817321 Title: installer does not support iSCSI iBFT To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/debian-installer/+bug/1817321/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
