extra bug/discussion.

That way it applies as-is to 3.1, with very slight noise to 2.11 and even 2.5.
Started test builds in [1] as a PPA to evaluate.

Who has s390x test kernels with secure boot enabled available to give this a 
try?
Marking the bug tasks incomplete until that has been verified.

For formal review MPs are up [2][3][4] as well.

P.S. Cosmic will be EOL until this reaches the SRU queues. Not preparing
that.
