Public bug reported: I've installed gmp-ecm on disco, but it is missing after install:
$ sudo apt-get install gmp-ecm Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done gmp-ecm is already the newest version (7.0.4+ds-5). 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. $ gmp-ecm 123456789 gmp-ecm: command not found According to http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/g/gmp-ecm /gmp-ecm_7.0.4+ds-5.dsc, the package includes gmp-ecm: Binary: gmp-ecm, libecm1, libecm1-dev, libecm1-dev-common, libecm-dev And: Package-List: gmp-ecm deb math optional arch=any libecm-dev deb oldlibs optional arch=all libecm1 deb libs optional arch=any libecm1-dev deb libdevel optional arch=any libecm1-dev-common deb libdevel optional arch=all I'm guessing gmp-ecm got renamed somewhere along the lines, but the rename is not documented. It may be a good idea to list the binary's name in "Binaries" section. $ lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available.
