Public bug reported:
Hi, I'm running into weird performance problems which
are only related basically to how stuff gets scrolled.
It seems fastest way to travel text is using page up/down
keys and avoid mouse wheel entirely. (.../ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1835677)
Furthermore interaction with scrollbar might break something
(.../ubuntu/+source/webkit/+bug/1830748)
which leaves only viable scrolling options
Page Up and Page Down.
And these in turn seem to suffer from direction changes,
let me demonstrate:
[ ] <-- this is scrollbar
Travel in only one direction:
[Page Down --> ]
[ <-- Page Up]
How to reset speed if it gets slow:
[Page Up ]
[ Page Down]
[Page Up ] don't hit last position more than one time
* delete browser image cache if you accidentally press scrollbar and
restart browser
