Public bug reported:

Several new and old KINGSTON variety of 16GB 64GB USB3 dongles can not
mount no longer display files stored...

History before problem. The KINGSTON TRAVELER USB2 and USB3 memory dongles
mounted normal and
display individual memory stick name as KINGSTON with serial numbers etc when
examined by LINUX GNOME DISK utility along with click on arrow/square mount
control button and file system details...

Several of these KINGSTON dongle drives no longer show identity of
manufacturer now REPLACED
forced into location
 /dev/disk/by-id/usb     GENERIC_USB_MASS_STORAGE:0:0
 or
 /dev/by-path/pci-0000.00-usb-0-.... scsi   GENERIC_USB_MASS_STORAGE:0:0

directory files
/mnt/pci-0000:00:16.2-usb-0:4:1.0-scsi-0:0:0:0
/mnt/usb-GENERIC_USB_Mass_Storage-0:0

etc/usbmount/usbmount.conf
Configuration file for the usbmount package, which mounts removable
# storage devices when they are plugged in and unmounts them when they
# are removed.

# Change to zero to disable usbmount
ENABLED=1

# Mountpoints: These directories are eligible as mointpoints for
# removable storage devices. A newly plugged in device is mounted on
# the first directory in this list that exists and on which nothing is
# mounted yet.
MOUNTPOINTS="/media/usb0 /media/usb1 /media/usb2 /media/usb3
             /media/usb4 /media/usb5 /media/usb6 /media/usb7"

# Filesystem types: removable storage devices are only mounted if they
# contain a filesystem type which is in this list.
FILESYSTEMS="vfat ext2 ext3 ext4 hfsplus ntfs fuseblk"

Information on Gnome DISK utility only display GENERIC_USB_MASS_STORAGE and no
media no size of memory stick... There are several USB stick tested results
out of 11 USB 3 was able to mount
having a NTFS System boot partition followed by the second data partition on
the USB stick

Please advise if this problem can be ROOT edited by ddition of files dedicated
to MOUNT USB sticks
according to first reading the USB stick id paramaters and then assigning a
mount file location...
