This remains very puzzling! Could you, by any chance, try an upstream build of firefox (download from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/download/thanks/, unpack and run), and share here whether it's also affected? If so, would you mind filing a bug report at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi#h=dupes%7CFirefox and sharing the link to it here?
