Modifying your sources.list is unofficial, hacky, and can cause problems, as many users have experienced. So you should set your sources.list to default and try again with the official upgrade method. Default is change gutsy back to feisty and ubutu to ubuntu I think that you manually modify your source list because http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubutu/dists/gutsy/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz must be http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/gutsy/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz So you should set your sources.list to default and try again with the official upgrade method. Can you then try it again? -- I try to Upgrading Kubuntu to 7.10 from feisty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/164047 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
