Public bug reported: The kernel that comes with Kubuntu 18.04.1 is able to see the partitions on my Macbook Air 7,1 (mid-2015, 11.6")'s NVMe SSD. However, the kernel included in 18.04.2 cannot.
If I check dmesg for the string "nvme" I get nvme nvme0: IO queues not created lspci can see the drive just fine. This seems to be an upstream issue because it also affects Debian Buster and Arch Linux. ** Affects: linux-signed-hwe (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1836964 Title: 18.04.2: cannot see Macbook Air 7,1 NVMe partitions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-signed-hwe/+bug/1836964/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
