If it is a regression due to recent updates then trying to isolate which package caused the regression may be the best way to start. You can check /var/log/apt/history.log* to try and determine what packages were upgraded around the time you started experiencing issues. The most likely candidates are probably linux, wpasupplicant, or network-manager.
I'm going to change the affected task to linux for now, then if you run 'apport-collect 1837440' in a terminal your system will attach logs which may be relevant to this bug report. Try to do it after you've been experiencing the connection issues, without rebooting. I know that this can be tricky when the problem is with networking -- perhaps you can connect to a different network or use a wired connection. ** Package changed: linux-firmware (Ubuntu) => linux (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1837440 Title: linux firmware 1.178.3 seems to break WPA enterprise To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1837440/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
