Public bug reported: Hi!
The "Burnstation" concept and the burnstation programs seems to be a great project to share free contents and to transform a computer in a powerful "station" to create compilations of medias, burning it, and share it, etc... This project is not new, but there doesn't exist yet an easy way to install it on Ubuntu. There exists a debian depository but it can't work with ubuntu (bad depencies i guess). (deb http://burnstation.org/debian/ sarge main) The only way is to create packages for ubuntu from de subversion depository of the burnstation projet. Check this: http://tiki.burnstation.org/tiki-index.php?page=Burnstation.deb&bl This would be a great opportunity to join free culture projects with ubuntu and free software? Could someone create the long-awaited deposits or include the deb in univers or multiverse depository (if it is possible)? It will be very nice! ;) ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: needs-packaging ** Tags added: needs-packaging -- need-packaging burnstation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/164213 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
