Azureus crash problems is a known issue which took time to get fixed.
You can install azureus version 2.5.0.4-1ubuntu3~gutsy1 in Linux Ubuntu
Gutsy with backports repositories enabled, this version fixes the crash
problem.
Can you also confirm if you can reproduce the issue with netbeans with
sun-java6-jre in Linux Ubuntu Gutsy?
