Thanks for reporting. The line Binary: gmp-ecm, libecm1, libecm1-dev, libecm1-dev-common, libecm-dev refers to the binary packages built by this source package. In other words, the gmp-ecm source is used to create these multiple installable packages.
The executable binaries are part of the packages, but they don't necessarily share the same name. Looking at the gmp-ecm package in question [1], I see that it contains a binary named `ecm`. This might be the executable you are looking for. :) [1] https://packages.ubuntu.com/disco/gmp-ecm [2] https://packages.ubuntu.com/disco/amd64/gmp-ecm/filelist ** Changed in: gmp-ecm (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Tags added: disco -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1835739 Title: gmp-ecm is missing after install To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gmp-ecm/+bug/1835739/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
