Initially the EFI partition numbered 2 was on disk 0 and the ubuntu partition
numbered 22 was on the same disk.
I duplicated the EFI partition on an external drive. At boot there is
the following error
Error: No such partition
entering rescue mode
grub rescue>
The cause is that the bios indicates that the hard disk containing
ubuntu now has the number 1
I thought it was possible to rectify by modifying the contents of the
/EFI/ubuntu/grub.cfg file as I have done in the past. But this time, I
do not succeed. After various tests, I thought that the parameter file
was not read.
I confirmed this track by reinstalling the grub: I see that the file is
no longer created. I do not think this is a planned evolution. I think
of an error.

I specify that the EFI bios is in no-secure mode and that the absence of
shimx64.efi should be an explanation to the problem.
