Hello Antonio,

Ok, I've tried with or without 3D effects. With 3D effects on, the
window of the program gets grey for a few seconds, without 3D effects,
I still have freezes (hangs ?), but no grey window. I've noticed some
disk access when the system goes out of the freeze. Notice that those
freezes are temporary, I never had to reboot or restart X, just wait for
a few seconds (10-30 sec maybe). And the grey window can still be moved,
even with 3D effects like "waving windows", but in grey ! Sometimes If I
try to switch too much on other applications, everythings hangs, but
still for a few seconds, after everything gets normal again.

It could happend on Firefox, evolution, synaptic, any software I think.
In reinstalled twice my system, same result, even on a brand new and
clean system.

Another thing, is that those freeze happen more often when I start (or
restart ?) the system, I mean boot from beginning. After a while the
freeze are very rare, and if the system is on since a few hours, I can
works hours without any problems.

If you need more info, of course, ask, but you have to know I'm not an
expert on linux !

Regards,

Jean-martin
