I removed desktop icons. Clean a nice desktop and no more 5 seconds save
on every file.
Ubuntu 19.04
cd /usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/
sudo tar -czvf [email protected] desktop-icons@csoriano/
sudo rm desktop-icons@csoriano -r
