Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gtkpod-aac

The Gtkpod-aac substitute the accents and other non-english symbols on a
metadata file by a blank space. This happens with most symbols such as
'`รง ~^". In order to reproduce it, you only need a mp3 file with
metadata written with one of those symbols. Since I am from Brasil, lots
of musics have those on.

This happens at the moment you add the files to the gtkpod. If you
correct the entries one-by-one and them save the changes, it won't
happen. Yet, it's still a very annoying bug cause you have to correct
each entry every time you want to add something to your iPod. It get's
almost impossible when you have a large collection of music and you have
to recover it at once.

** Affects: gtkpod-aac (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
