I have tested this with Ubuntu packages, setting the build ID to e.g.
"build3". Your suggestion of prefixing the build ID with a number (i.e.
1build3) doesn't seem necessary if we ensure that this change becomes
effective only in a new version of firefox, because the build ID won't
matter in the version comparison, e.g. from
68.0_20190701120911/20190701120911 to 68.0.1_build1/build1.

Or am I missing a use case?
